March with Pride!
Join us on June 24 for a day of celebration, fun, and pride as we march together in the 38th annual Seattle Pride Parade!
LGBTQ youth, staff, volunteers, and straight allies welcome!
Colorful Outfits & Costumes Encouraged!
2012 Theme: "The Many Faces of Pride"
Up to 40% of homeless youth identify as LGBTQ; many have faced discrimination and violence for coming out or being suspected of being gay. At YouthCare, youth find, often for the first time, a place where they can celebrate their identity without fear and without judgment. Join us as we march in one of the leading contingents for the entire Pride Parade, with colors flying, people cheering, flags waving, and music playing.
To sign up, visit this link. We are meeting on Sunday at 9:30 am on 4th Avenue between Seneca and University to get ready for the Parade, which starts at 11am. We expect it to be over by 1:30, but that is dependant on the Parade itself, so be prepred to be flexible.

(A special thanks to graphic designer Jinna Hagerty for the beautiful poster design!)
