Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park

Socks and Popcorn!

Tuesday, August 17, 2010

The Blind Side tells the story of NFL player Michael Oher, a homeless youth who finds a family and the support he needs to realize his full potential. Intelius, sponsor of Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park, couldn’t have picked a better movie for its evening to benefit YouthCare.

Join us at the Downtown Bellevue Park (10201 4th Ave.) on Tuesday, August 17th at dusk (between 8:30 and 9:00) for this Academy Award-winning film.

Movie-goers are asked to bring donations of new adult-sized socks and toiletries. For more information visit www.intelius.com/summermovies. To volunteer to help make popcorn and collect donations contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

“YouthCare has been a part of my life for several years, and through volunteering on the events committee, I have formed a stronger connection to the city of Seattle and my own nearby community. The reality of being a homeless youth in our nation is hard to face, but each of us has the opportunity to help make genuine change.”
