YouthCare’s Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager - Development
POSITION SUMMARY:
YouthCare’s Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager works to grow philanthropic support from existing and new foundation and corporate funding sources. Working with the Director of Development, he/she will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward foundations and corporations for general, program-specific and sponsorship support. Responsibilities include updating and managing calendar/database for proposals and reports, writing of letters of inquiry, proposals, sponsorship requests, and mid-year and final reports, and maintaining and compiling supporting documents.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years experience as a fundraising professional with a specific background in grant writing, and a familiarity with greater Seattle’s giving community. In addition, the position will serve as the relationship manager for the program, and must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and writing skills.

YouthCare’s Director of Programs - Administration
POSITION SUMMARY:
YouthCare is seeking a dynamic seasoned professional to oversee agency programs serving runaway, homeless, and exploited youth. The Director of Programs is responsible for the strategic development of YouthCare’s programmatic initiatives and coordination of the system of care agency-wide, and will represent the agency in a range of external forums.
Successful program implementation includes: high quality of care and effective communication throughout all programs, consistent performance of programs to their contracted outcomes, operating within contractual expectations and agency budgets, and responsiveness to the ongoing and emergent needs of clients and staff throughout the continuum of services.
Qualified candidates will have documented success as a senior leader and manager in the field of homelessness, extensive experience with program development and oversight, ability to manage multiple funding streams to meet agency goals, strong communication and public speaking skills, and a positive collaborative leadership style. The position is a member of the Senior Leadership team and reports to the Executive Director.

Employment & Education Program Manager - James W. Ray Orion Center
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of James W. Ray Orion Center, the Employment & Education Program Manager is responsible for coordinating, supporting and monitoring various YouthCare employment and education programs including the YWCA’s Working Zone Tile Program, the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) programs, the Barista Program, YouthTech, the GED and YouthBuild Programs, the college program and liaises with the on-site Seattle Interagency School. The Employment & Education Program Manager is charged with program development, contract oversight, staff supervision and is responsible for ensuring that clients enrolled in employment programs are receiving necessary skills toward self-sufficiency.

Medical Coordinator - Casa de los Amigos
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Medical Coordinator at Casa de los Amigos is responsible for coordinating the medical care of participants in the programs providing shelter to youth in the custody of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). The facilities are for youth 12-17 years of age with behavioral and emotional issues who have immigrated to the United States and have been apprehended by immigration. The Medical Coordinator must balance nurturing and listening while setting limits and must possess organizational abilities as well as be adaptable and flexible while maintaining a safe environment.

Community Outreach Youth Counselor - James W. Ray Orion Center
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Community Outreach Program Manager, the Community Outreach Youth Counselor provides support, intervention, and referral services to youth who are homeless or high-risk for homelessness. The Community Outreach Youth Counselor engages youth from a variety of settings including the Orion Center, streets, schools, and other areas where youth congregate. This position carefully facilitates youth movement from emergency services to case management, housing, education, and employment.

YouthBuild Construction Worksite Supervisor - James W. Ray Orion Center
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the YouthBuild Program Manager, the YouthBuild Construction Worksite Supervisor will be responsible for providing supervision and direction to YouthBuild participants at various Construction Training Sites. In addition to encompassing all programmatic, leadership development, grant compliance and reporting, student supervision and management activities of this federally funded project. YouthBuild educates and trains participants with multiple barriers, ages 18-24. YouthBuild key elements include opportunities for participants to earn their GED, gain basic construction credentials, with the ultimate goal of placing program participants in post-secondary education and/or facilitating participants’ entrance into the livable wage jobs in the fields of construction with an emphasis on green building.

Life Skills Coordinator - ISIS House
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Life Skills Coordinator is responsible for development and implementation of a structured life skills curriculum at the transitional living sites. In conjunction with other clinical staff, the Life Skills Coordinator’s task is to create a safe and caring therapeutic environment for high risk youth in residence who are preparing for self-sufficiency within the community. The position requires an individual who can actively contribute to a positive, stable, responsive and responsible environment for change and someone who has experience working with homeless youth in group settings. The ISIS House supports youth that identify as LGBTQ and their straight allies.
