Provide General House Support

YouthCare residences often bustle with energy; other times, there's quiet work being done. Always, staff are laboring to provide individual attention and to maintain a home. You can help them do that by pitching in where needed.

The tasks vary. They might include cooking a meal for ten, helping one young person put together a resume, dusting, or answering the door. All of it's useful and appreciated: it keeps our houses running smoothly and our young people cared for.

Hours:  Variable

Commitment: No minimum committment needed

Volunteer Age Minimum: 21

Requirements:

• Attend a YouthCare Information Session.
• Attend an orientation regarding the specific program you will be working in.
• Complete and pass a Washington State background check.
• Sign a Volunteer Agreement form.
