YouthCare's 29th Annual Luncheon
In 1974, a group of concerned citizens started a three-bed shelter for homeless and runaway youth, the first in the western United States. Forty years later, we are a leader in providing effective services to our community’s homeless young people, with six sites serving the greater Seattle area.
Today, the needs of homeless youth remain the same—basic needs, shelter and housing, and access to a future through education and employment. We are committed to helping that young person in a doorway become a kid in school, an adult on the job, and eventually, an independent and stable citizen.
We need your help to do it. Join us next spring to celebrate 40 years of getting homeless youth off the streets and preparing for life.
