The 33rd Annual YouthCare Luncheon was a huge success—and raised raised important funds for homeless youth. Thanks to our generous sponsors, table captains, and donors in the Challenge Pool, all donations go directly to YouthCare’s programs.

Melinda’s speech was a rallying cry to our community to believe in our young people’s potential—and help them rise to meet their futures. Maven shared an amazing story of resilience, the power of employment training, and a poem that made us all think. Purchase their poetry collection. Natalie told her story with incredible grace, and highlighted the importance of having a support network who believes in you. David, our final speaker, shared how his life has evolved since receiving YouthCare services more than 30 years ago. They all did a terrific job!

As Melinda said: “We must commit, unwaveringly, to addressing the root causes of homelessness. And we must match the scale of our investments to the scale of the problem. We need more youth-centric housing. More early interventions. More employment training. More educational access. More living-wage jobs. More.”

And as YouthCare embarks on our next year of growth and expansion, we’ll be sure to keep you informed.
